I've had several people see the webinar on pet first aid in the CoPF Learning Center and were very interested in learning more and perhaps finding local resources where they could receive further hands on instruction. How should someone proceed to find local training in their area?

That is a great question. Your first resource should be your veterinarian. It depends on the individual veterinarian, but if you are active with a pet rescue, I would hope he /she would donate some time. My advice is to be very prepared with specific questions. Some vets would be willing to give a personal presentation with your group. I would be happy to upon request.
Another good option is to reach out to your state‘s vet school. Most states have vet schools now, and offer “community services”.
Pet First Aid /CPR is a very broad subject area. This is the main reason we decided to offer this webinar series, so Dr Crowe can cover the most common areas. He is such a great presenter and a recognized international authority on the subject. We feel this webinar series can serve as a great foundation / first step and we are making it available for anyone / any organization that needs it on our website with a YouTube link.
